The cost of consumables continues to rise and selecting well priced good quality consumables to support our enterprises is often fraught with difficulty, not least due to the enormous choice available and all the competing marketing - as ever the best marketing does not always promote the best products!

Many of us still rely on good old fashioned recommendations to assist us in at least moving to a short list (its certainly where I get most of my initial research from!) so, for what its worth here are my current recommendations:

  Viking provide a wide range of office equipment and stationary at good prices with a quick service - and there IS someone available on the phone to sort out issues when they arise.
• Ink & Toner supplies - www.internet-ink.co.uk
  This is a relative new comer for me - but I have high hopes! A good range of products and a good reputation to date for for printer ink cartridges and laser toner cartridges.
• Anti Virus and Spam Control - VIPRE
  One of the best around today without a doubt. I previously used ESET's NOD32 which is also very good but I think VIPRE has the edge. One of the first to be DESIGNED from the base up as a combined Anti-virus AND Anti-spam suite.
• Registry cleaner / Utility - Ace utilities by Acelogix
  Easy to use and not too intrusive it does the job well - run once a week to keep the dross at bay in your registry and temp files!
